Just a month ago, soccer experts declared Spain out of the World Cup after losing their first game against Switzerland. At the time, the fault mostly fell on Spain’s goalkeeper Iker Casillas, who failed to prevent a game winning goal against the Swiss. The media claimed the Real Madrid star was distracted by Sara Carbonero, a sexy Spanish sideline reporter who just happens to be his 25-year-old WAG. The high-profile brunette stood just a few feet away from Casillas when Gelson Fernandes of Switzerland scored on him. Shortly after, his WAG drilled him in a post-game interview by bluntly asking him “How did you muck that up?”

All is forgiven now that Spain has won the World Cup. Casillas did not allowa single goal in the last four games of the 2010 World Cup. Carbonero remains one of the hottest sideline journalists in the world.
